I have been teaching for 11 years in NY, TX, CT, NH and currently in MA.
My teaching philosophy has three core components:
1. Students learn best when they are having fun.
2. Everyone can learn to play given the right environment and guidance.
3. Learning an instrument involves developing skills beyond the instrument. This includes: discipline, focus, paying attention to details, fine motor skills, respect, building a routine/working habit, and learning how to interact with a broader community.
I teach because I love to connect with students and help them to enjoy themselves while working hard. I tailor the curriculum to suit each student and help students develop skills to reach their potential.
